If you’re looking for a good brunch spot, look no further. Milk and Honey fits the bill.

Service: I went to Milk and Honey on Christmas Eve and loved the down home feeling. Our server, Katrina, felt like a long time friend. She knew the menu and was ready with suggestions. It wasn’t too busy and the food came out promptly.

Food: As usual, I looked at the menu and mentally made my selections prior to arriving, but of course ended up changing when I actually sat down. The options are plenty and it was a little difficult to make my selection because everything sounded so delicious. I ended up going with the lamb and grits. The dish is on the pricier side compared to other items on the menu. Who would’ve ever thought about putting lamb with grits? It was a GREAT combo and the gravy (ask for extra) it topped it right off.

Get a honey biscuit, not just one but several they’re delicious! Try the the buffalo chicken spinach dip as well (another combo that I wouldn’t have put together) it’s hittin’!

Overall, I enjoyed experience at Milk and Honey. Their playlist was a nice mix of old and semi-new school r&b
and it served as a nice backdrop for great company and good conversation. The establishment is covid-19 friendly – social distancing is enforced and masks are required.
